The True Cost is a groundbreaking film exposing the social and environmental cost of the fashion industry throughout the world. Charting the amazing stories of workers and communities as they struggle against the behemoth multi-trillion dollar fashion industry and its insatiable appetite for cheap garments at any cost.

The documentary is being screened in Melbourne on Friday 4 September at 6pm.

There will be a panel session to follow the screening, titled:

PRESENTED BY JUNKEE Panelists are Siggi McCarthy (Ethical Clothing Australia), Molly Harriss Olson (CEO Fairtrade Australia New Zealand) and Fabia Pryor (RMIT / Kangan Institute). Panel moderator is Anna Horan, editor-in-chief of TheVine.
