Help Grant a Wish in Style!
Make-A-Wish Australia aims to transform the lives of children battling life-threatening medical conditions through the healing power of a wish. In June, the Melbourne Volunteer Branch will host a Second-Hand Clothing Sale to raise much needed funds and are currently seeking donations of pre-loved garments/designer samples.
Each day, six families around Australia receive the news that their child has a critical illness.
In June, with support from the Australian Fashion Council, the Melbourne Volunteer Branch of Make-A-Wish Australia will be raising much needed funds for these families with a Second-Hand Clothing Sale! Make-A-Wish will be selling pre-loved men’s, women’s and children’s clothing and accessories at a range of prices to suit everyone. All funds raised will go towards granting cherished wishes for really sick kids.
DONATE YOUR GARMENTS.
To raise maximum possible funds and make more wishes come true, the Melbourne Volunteer Branch are currently seeking donations of pre-loved garments/designer samples.
For those wishing to donate, please contact Stephanie Karras (0407 938 329) by MAY 26th.
ABOUT MAKE A WISH...
Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children and teenagers battling life-threatening medical conditions – giving them hope for the future, strength to face the challenges of their illness, and joy from their incredible wish experience.
Make-A-Wish wishes are as unique as the imaginations of the children who make them – from wishing to meet a dinosaur, be a ‘plane driver’, or even to see snow in Cairns – Make-A-Wish makes the impossible possible.
Make-A-Wish Australia has been granting wishes since 1985 and has brought over 9,500 amazing wishes to life. Without government funding this is only possible thanks to the wonderful support and generosity of local communities, individuals and business partners.
